I received word that Miss Olive Tovson, renowned French and P.E. teacher at Hillcrest in the 60s and 70s, has died in Minnesota after an extended period of ill health.   Miss T truly blessed many of us, not only with her teaching French and PE but life in general.
It was a blessing to see her at the Chicago reunion in July 2009.

Dear friends of Lowell ,

Lowell died yesterday evening.  We got a phone call early this morning.  He went in for chemo treatment and died soon afterwards. 

We spent a wonderful week with him in Quebec City the first week in April.  Lisa and her family, my parents, and Luke and Denay were with us.  We spent the time reminiscing and playing music.  We're thankful we were able to spend that time with him.
